We’re sorry to report that the ice cream situation at this cute vegetarian cafe has gone downhill. We previously had some mind-blowing ice cream here, but on a recent visit the ice cream, which is vegan, left a lot to be desired.
We sampled the Strawberry and Cookie Dough flavors. Both are hard packed, but they are a really gooey consistency and not creamy enough. The Strawberry was better because you could almost fool yourself into thinking it was a sorbet, but it wasn’t. There wasn’t much redeeming about the Cookie Dough.
The lunch at The Green Bean is great, but if you are looking for vegan ice cream, there are better options.
