Sedutto - scooponcones.com
Sedutto began in 1922 as a family owned ice cream parlor in Staten Island, and at one point had stores all over the City. Sadly, the flagship closed last summer, and only one store remains: this Upper East Side shop that first opened in 1975.
Management has changed many times, but the staff assures us the ice cream is the same that New Yorkers fell in love with generations ago. We can see why, it’s delightfully creamy and just the right density. And they offer a ton of flavors, from traditional to florescent kid-friendly to sophisticates such as green tea and ginger.
On a recent visit we tried Moose Tracks, which has Vanilla ice cream, brownie bits and peanut butter cups. Simply divine.
In addition to hard packed ice cream, Sedutto offers soft serve and frozen yogurt.
