This celebrity favorite in SoHo has opened an equally tiny frozen yogurt counter in the Lower East Side.
We tried the Pomegranate yogurt (one of two flavors, other is Plain) and it was creamy and delish.
Pop Yogurt has a great selection of toppings. We were delighted to discover this option: bright orange spheres that looked like tapioca balls —but they are filled with a liquid and pop when you bite into them. So much fun.
At the SoHo store, we loved the Chocolate Pop Rocks topping.
The only problem with the LES location is the sidewalk in front of the walk-up counter. Look at the picture at right. A basement entrance to the store is right where customers are supposed to stand. It just seems dangerous, especially when left open as it was for about an hour.
