There are a lot of things to like about MaximoPino: the seating area is spacious, the wifi is free, the staff is friendly and helpful. Sadly, the gelato is not one of the things to like.

We found the gelato to be average -- the flavors are mild and generally too sweet, and the texture was nothing outstanding.

Which is too bad, because there are a lot of cool things about this place: they stream live video from their in-house gelato “factory,” an iPhone-friendly website is under works to order on the go, and the cupcakes and pastries look amazing. Next time we’ll stick to those.
