This adorable Upper East Side soda shop is tailor-made for a pint-sized sports fan. It has baseball stools and tables, autographed memorabilia every which way you turn, and even a giant cow statue in a Yankee’s uniform.
The ice cream is no exception, with flavors including Cake Batter-Up and Free-Throw Cookie Dough. The ice cream has a nice texture and somewhat mild, pleasing flavors.
Last Licks also has four flavors of frozen yogurt, which we imagine is a bigger seller among the moms, and a nice selection of toppings.
They regularly host autograph signings, and a cute room in the back is available for parties.
Our 9-year-old kid tester said she’d come back with friends even though she’s not a sports nut because of all the interesting games, books and toys for sale -- the rows of candy didn’t hurt, either.
Another draw: the prices. Every Sunday they offer $2 sundaes , which is a real steal, and on Wednesday there are 93 cent cones.
