This year Griff’s gelati has added ice cream pops to it’s menu, and we couldn’t be happier about it. The friendly girl behind the counter described it as more of a “pie on a stick” than a Popsicle. How right she was.

We sampled the Key Lime Pie (on a stick) which was covered in graham cracker crumbs. The texture was creamy, just a little less so than regular ice cream, which is probably necessary to make it stay on a stick.

They only had one flavor of ice cream pop available, past flavors have included Boston Cream Pie and Pina Colada.

Griff’s, which is connected to Duane Park restaurant, is also known for adventurous ice cream flavors, including Fig White Balsamic and Sesame Brittle.

Hours: Noon-12 daily (weather permitting)

Price: $3 for one scoop; $3 ice cream pop
