The latest addition to the frozen yogurt scene has disco lighting and a futuristic feel, but it’s not just the interior design that makes this place stand out.
The flavors we tried were delish: the tart was indeed very tart and will please fans of Greek yogurt; the coffee had a strong bean kick; the peanut butter was ultra-creamy; and the (vegan) mango was tangy.
The toppings really take the cake. We appreciated the watermelon balls and gingerbread cookie pieces. Not your typical topping fare, but they should be. They also offer syrups, including a Pressed Mango Puree and a vegan, nonfat Dark Chocolate.
This is the kind of place where you fill your own dish of yogurt and help yourself to the toppings, then pay by the ounce. The bowls are huge and its easy to overindulge. In fact, it’s almost impossible not to. Despite paying nearly $7 for the dish pictured at right, we enjoyed it and would happily come back. Hopefully with a little more discipline next time.
