Sadly, the ice cream cart that we were so enamored with last summer will not return this year.

The restaurant tells us they have a new dessert chef, so we returned to try their new ice cream offerings (available at the restaurant and bar).

The ice cream offerings include Rocky Road, Roasted Pistachio and Cookies & Cream. Our favorite was the Rocky Road, which was a sultry chocolate dabbled with fun marshmallows. Among the sorbets, the Greek Yogurt stood out from the pack of Mango and Strawberry.

The new ice cream offerings are nice, but don’t send us into the orbits of ecstasy like the previous ice cream did. We still dream of that Lemon Curd ice cream.
