Ciao Bella - scooponcones.com
This bright gelato shop in the World Financial Center is one of four storefronts in the city for Ciao Bella, which was created in Little Italy in 1983 and is now widely available in grocery stores and restaurants.
We like the flavors, which include a yummy pistachio with big whole nuts, and a rich valrhona chocolate.
But their gelato is a weird gooey consistency. It stretches between the bowl and spoon like melted mozzarella cheese.
Not downtown? They also have shops in Nolita, Grand Central, and the Upper East Side.
