One of the new trends in frozen yogurt is the self-serve, pay-by the ounce shop. Among these, 16 Handles stands head and shoulders above the competition.
It has 16 flavors of fro-yo, including some sugar free and dairy free, and a myriad of mouth-watering toppings, from Heath Bars to Lychee. We especially like the Peanut Butter and Irish Mint frozen yogurts, and the Captain Crunch cereal and cookie dough toppings.
We think the fro-yo itself tastes better, and they have a wider variety of fresher toppings, than other similar shops.
This store was hopping with the elementary-school kid and nanny set on a recent mid-afternoon. If that means 16 Handles will stick around, we’re happy for it!
Also, get a free cup of fro-yo on your birthday with your ID.
We do, however, wish 16 Handles gave samples.
